Materials Planner

The Material Planner will oversee material planning and inventory management processes for our new Austin facility, serving as a key founding member of our supply chain operations. This role will establish and optimize material flow systems, manage supplier relationships, and lead the Material & Planning team to support our production operations from startup through full-scale manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Overall responsibility to the processes within Material & Planning. Daily/weekly EDI releasing and track with material supplier and transportation suppliers. Lead and coordinate work in the function according to department requirements and guidelines. Continuously improve and develop processes which related to forecast, Inventory management. Drive supplier delivery performance improvement together with purchase team. Utilize efficiently of the human resources in own area of responsibility. Responsible for performance review in Material & Planning Team. Other tasks assigned by Head of Supply Chain/Logistic Management Qualifications Required 3-5+ years of progressive experience in material planning, preferably in automotive manufacturing Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems and MRP/ERP software Proven track record managing supplier relationships and improving delivery performance Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory optimization and forecasting Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders Demonstrated leadership and team management experience Preferred Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field Experience in automotive tier 1 or tier 2 supplier environment Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin Experience with startup or greenfield operations Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Xinquan Texas Automotive Interiors LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
