Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Travel Nurse Position in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/IMC/Stepdown

Seeking experienced registered nurses for a travel position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/IMC/Stepdown. The role involves providing specialized patient care in a state-of-the-art unit with a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to post-operative, cardiology, and stepdown patients.
• Monitor patient conditions using tele monitoring and post-op monitoring equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech EMR system.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Adhere to unit policies, protocols, and safety guidelines to maintain optimal patient care standards.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with valid credentials.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care hospital PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Cardiac care experience and Meditech proficiency preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and possess a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Flexibility to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 13-week assignment.
