Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Maine
Seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Anesthesiologist to join this dynamic Anesthesia team. The role involves providing care to patients undergoing a wide range of medical procedures, during pre-operative, and post operative phases. Status Full-time, Monday -Friday, No Call.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage anesthesia for various types of surgeries and medical procedures
- Conduct pre-operative assessments of patients, including reviewing medical histories and deciding appropriate anesthesia plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and overall well being during surgery
- Respond to any adverse reactions or emergencies related to anesthesia
- Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patient recovery
- Educate patients and families regarding anesthesia risks and procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records Meditech (EMR) documentation required
3 OR suites, endoscopy suite, and OB unit, surgical specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, OB|GYN and children over 3 years of age. Must be proficient in endoscopies and labor epidurals.
Compensation Base salary-$575k-$600 plus a sign on bonus, incentives, benefits, malpractice, relocation.
General Hospital: is a 25-bed, independent critical access hospital located in Maine. The hospital provides care to over 30,000 residents in central Maine. A medical staff of more than 40 physicians skilled in a variety of fields, and 722 full and part-time professional and technical employees ensure the delivery of progressive health and medical services.
