Project Accountant-Construction - AECOM Hunt

Job Description AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity to join our team of professionals as a Project Accountant in either Indianapolis, IN. This position allows for hybrid work as approved by management. Responsibilities Supports moderately complex project(s), working under general supervision. Prepares various financial reports and provides analysis and recommendations based on findings. Requires a proven ability to apply professional concepts in a productive, consistent manner. Maintains records according to generally accepted accounting practices. Performs audits and generates special financial reports. Reviews projects for accurate revenue recognition and provides project analysis and recommendations based on findings. Matrixed environment, reports to local Project Executive and Regional Controller. Qualifications BA/BS relevant curriculum and 2 years of accounting experience OR A/AS and 4 years of relevant experience OR HSD/GED and 6 years of relevant experience OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience in construction accounting. Experience with construction financial documentation. Strong Excel experience. CMiC or Textura experience is preferred. Microsoft Office Proficiency. Compensation Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $31.14 to $57.62 per hour.
