Maintenance Technician

Job Location: HEADQUARTERS - WEST CHESTER, OH 45069 Position Type: Full Time Upside Innovations, a SixAxis company, is a premier manufacturer of aluminum ramps, steps, canopies, covered walkways, and custom access products. We continually seek the best talent to add to our team and support our continued growth journey. Responsibilities Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for production and facility equipment. Research and recommend the proper repair parts and tools required to maintain equipment. Maintain spare parts inventory for production equipment. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine repair procedures. Complete special projects and test production methods requested by the production supervisor. Provide recommendations to improve team member safety, quality, workflow, efficiency, and on time delivery. Train and provide guidance to team members on operator level maintenance and cleaning as well as safety procedures. Collect and maintain maintenance records and reports to the production supervisor. Troubleshoot production, tool, and equipment issues while maintaining safe conditions. Meet and coordinate with vendors for repairs beyond what we can complete. Follow all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance or a related field is a plus. A minimum of five years maintenance experience. Strong fabrication skills and solid understanding of equipment and maintenance. Familiarity with CNC saws and mills, tube lasers and welding equipment. Positive attitude, ability to be a team player and step in where needed. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Experience with MRP systems and Microsoft Office fluency. Thrives in fast paced environment and handles changes in priority well. Works comfortably under pressure. Technical knowledge and a good understanding of maintenance processes. Ability to teach, guide and assist other employees as necessary. Strong problem-solving skills. A self-starter who works well with little supervision.
