CDL Driver

Full-time CDL Truck Driver

Mercer Landmark is seeking a dependable and safety-minded full-time CDL Truck Driver to join our team on 1st shift at our St. Anthony location.

Position Summary

The CDL Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of bulk feed to our customers' farming operations. This role plays a key part in providing exceptional service while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining company equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Safely haul, deliver, and unload bulk feed at customer locations.
• Maximize the efficient use of time, equipment, and resources.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment, reporting any necessary repairs to management.
• Keep trucks and equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and security standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by supporting our patrons and helping them succeed in their operations.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Class A CDL, or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and customers.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in varying weather conditions.
