Senior Manager, Supply Planning

Senior Manager, Supply Planning Location: Plymouth, MN – Structural Heart Division. Responsibilities include driving supply planning for the Structural Heart business unit, balancing customer demand, inventory investment, production capabilities, regulatory requirements, and supplier capabilities to meet short and long‑term business goals. Responsibilities Manage production plans to support end‑customer sales, non‑revenue demand, and finished goods changes. Maintain finished goods inventory levels and safety stocks to meet service levels while minimizing inventory investment. Resolve product delivery conflicts and prioritize production schedules. Set strategic and tactical direction, develop and implement improvement initiatives, and ensure schedule commitments and financial goals are met. Consolidate, review, and approve plan information, present to senior management. Direct staff, approve staffing decisions, develop organization for effectiveness. Translate inputs from technical meetings and marketing into short‑and long‑term procurement strategies. Coordinate plans with R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing to meet inventory levels before market entry. Communicate with senior Abbott management, suppliers, and agency partners. Collaborate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Quality to support production. Lead talent development through performance feedback, goal setting, coaching, and mentoring. Build positive relationships with cross‑functional partners to deliver business results. Create a high‑performance culture that supports strategic and operational goals. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 10 years of people‑management experience with demonstrated leadership. Minimum 10 years of project‑management experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills for multiple organizational levels. Willingness to travel up to 25%, including international travel. Preferred Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in the medical device industry. Master’s degree or MBA. Experience working in a broader enterprise or cross‑division business unit model.
