Completions Technical Specialist II

Company: Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation Position: Completions Technical Specialist II – GAC Dallas Responsibilities Select appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex engineering issues. Serve as a recognized authority, consulted extensively by associates and others within the field. Anticipate and creatively resolve complex issues by developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities. Balance technical product, cost, and schedule in problem‑solving approaches. Execute assignments with minimal direction, reviewing work from a long‑range perspective to achieve desired results. Exercise latitude in determining technical objectives, making authoritative decisions and recommendations. Maintain current knowledge of developments in specialty and related aircraft fields, recommending innovations to improve quality and effectiveness of the company product. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree with eight years of experience or a Ph.D. with six years of experience is acceptable. Ten (10) years of experience in electrical wire routing design, including experience as an electrical lead, with Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS), CATIA V5, Capital Logic, and Capital XC. Legal authority to work in the United States. Advanced degree in engineering or related curriculum preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
