We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Sales Associate to join our small, customer-focused team. This role requires weekend availability and occasional evening shifts, providing excellent customer service and maintaining efficient store operations in a single location.
MINIMUM 24-35 HOURS/WEEK. This job would be perfect for a bright individual that is a looking for weekends to supplement their existing work or school week.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers in choosing products that best suit their needs and desired experiences
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to assist customers. You DO NOT need cannabis knowledge to start but you will need to be a quick learner and exercise good memory.
- Replenish stock and organize merchandise displays
- Ensure store cleanliness and maintenance standards
- Handle cash and operate POS systems securely
- Collaborate effectively and positively with team members
- Manage inventory and support merchandising efforts
- MUST LEARN AND ABIDE BY LAWS GOVERNED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF CANNABIS CONTROL and hold it the utmost importance.
Required Qualifications
- MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD TO APPLY!!! APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE.
- MUST BE RELIABLE, HONEST, and TRUSTWORTHY
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Cannabis-friendly!
- 2+ years of experience in retail sales
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well within a small team
- Ability to apply creative marketing skills and techniques
- Problem solving and time management abilities
- Cash handling
