Patient Care Attendant

VCA Augustine Loretto Animal Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Attendant to join our team! We are a busy, 3-doctor practice with a fast-paced, supportive, and fun working environment. In addition to veterinary services, we offer canine and feline boarding, helping our community with complete, full-service pet care. About Us We are a full service veterinary hospital offering primary care, illness care, surgery and dentistry located in Jacksonville, FL. Check out our website here: Compensation $16 - $20 / hr is based on skill set, and experience Schedule Full time, weekend rotation required. Duties include Restraining animals for doctor and technician Administering medications under the supervision of the technician Assisting with obtaining lab samples Running labs on our in-house machines (including learning how to troubleshoot machines) .Monitoring hospitalized patients during treatments and during surgery recovery. Surgical pack preparation.
