We are particularly looking ahead to potential openings for a Residence Director . The Residence Director will manage the daily housing operations of one residential area on campus, serve in the on‑call rotation, and work in partnership with student staff and residential students to create safe and inclusive communities that reflect our values of compassion, community, and collaboration. The role is 10 months per year, working August 1st to June 1st each year. What you’ll do Student Interactions and Engagement: Pursue relationships with residents in your community to support their goals, needs, issues, and concerns; serve as a role model for students and staff. Community Development: Implement strategies in the ORL education plan, collaborate with staff and campus partners, notify stakeholders of events, create an inclusive environment, educate students about Code of Conduct policies, respond to crisis or emergency situations, and serve as hearing officer for conduct cases. Team Membership and Supervision: Work as a member of a professional staff team, supervise a team of Resident Assistants, plan and facilitate staff meetings and supervision, serve on committees, coordinate training, and participate in staff selection. Housing Operations: Assist students with administrative tasks (ID card access, key assignments, room assignments and switches, room condition reports, facilities management); work with housekeeping and facilities staff; support all campus‑wide housing processes, including move‑ins, move‑outs, break housing, and room selection. What we’re looking for 2+ years of experience in Residence Life as a student or professional employee Bachelor's degree Experience living in an on‑campus setting Valid driver's license Compensation The annual pay range for this position is $48,301.00 – $77,296.00 . The position is 10 months per year; the prorated range is $44,477.67 – $60,175.67. The target hiring range is $53,373.00 – $72,210.00.
