Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving an adult and geriatric population (ages 18+)
• Utilize telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pumps, bladder scanners, and Dynamaps as part of routine patient care
• Document patient assessments and care plans accurately using Cerner EHR
• Apply critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced, stressful environment with minimal supervision
• Maintain patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1 and float occasionally to like units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN State License (must be held prior to start)
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience on a Medical/Surgical unit strongly preferred
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and related acute care equipment
• Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations
