Mobile, AL 36610 Duties * Safely operate flatbed trailers * Properly secure cargo to prevent shifting in transit * Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections * Plan routes to meet delivery schedules safely and on time * Perform routine maintenance checks and report issues promptly * Comply with all federal, state, and company transportation regulations * Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation Experience * 2+ years of truck driving experience, including route and freight delivery * Ability to operate manual transmission trucks * Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions * TWIC card required * Prior flatbed, refrigerated, tanker, or similar commercial vehicle experience preferred * Experience with load/unload operations and cargo securement * Working knowledge of trucking safety protocols and vehicle maintenance Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Vision insurance Work Location: In person Company Description Southern Intermodal Xpress (SIX) offers a full range of regional and local import/export container drayage services, including import/export refrigerated (reefer) container drayage.
