Position Overview

We are partnering with a growing medical aesthetics device company seeking a highly motivated Area Sales Manager to drive new business development and capital equipment sales across a multi-state territory based in Nashville, TN.

Medical aesthetics experience is preferred, but not required. We are equally interested in successful B2B sales professionals who have built their careers with organizations such as ADP, Cintas, Paychex, or similar companies known for developing strong sales talent.

The ideal candidate has a demonstrated history of exceeding sales goals, a track record of success over multiple years with an employer, and the drive to build and grow a territory. Key Responsibilities

• Own and grow a multi-state sales territory, with a strong emphasis on new customer acquisition, territory expansion, and capital equipment sales.
• Develop and execute a territory strategy to identify high-potential accounts and expand market share.
• Build a consistent pipeline through cold calling, prospecting, referrals, networking, and in-person customer visits.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and discovery through product demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
• Conduct consultative discovery to understand customers' clinical, operational, and financial needs.
• Present the clinical value, practice economics, ROI, and competitive advantages of the product portfolio.
• Develop relationships with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, medical spas, aesthetic practices, and other key customers.
• Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline information, and sales forecasts.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

Qualifications

We are interested in two types of successful sales professionals: experienced medical aesthetics representatives and accomplished B2B sales professionals ready to transition into medical device sales.

• 3–5+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience, preferably with multiple years of demonstrated success at the same organization.
• A documented track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, earning sales awards, achieving top-performer recognition, or consistently ranking among the strongest performers within your organization.
• Experience with organizations such as ADP, Cintas, Paychex, or similar companies with established sales training and development programs is highly desirable.
• Medical aesthetics, medical device, or capital equipment sales experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience selling lasers, RF, energy-based devices, or other aesthetic technologies is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in prospecting, developing new accounts, building a territory, and closing business.
• Strong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• A history of professional stability, sustained performance, and career progression.
• Self-motivated, competitive, resilient, and comfortable working in a high-activity, performance-driven sales environment.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform preferred.

Travel & Territory

This is a field-based position located in Nashville, TN, covering a multi-state territory.

Regular customer visits and regional travel will be required, along with some overnight travel for meetings, training, and industry events.
