Emergency Room Registered NurseJob Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Evenings Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in an Emergency Room setting License: Current Indiana or compact RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department Nursing experience - BLS (AHA only) - ACLS (AHA only) - PALS (AHA only) - TNCC or ATCN required - NIHSS strongly preferred Description: The Emergency Department is a verified Level 2 Adult and Pediatric Trauma center. The Emergency Department has a layout consisting of 40 rooms. These include 23 non-monitored single rooms, 13 monitored rooms for 2 patients if needed, and 4 resuscitation bays for critical trauma and medical patients. The unit employs a Team Nursing approach to ensure seamless care delivery. All shifts may be required. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:4. The dress code for this position is scrubs in Caribbean Blue. Mandatory attendance is required for orientation sessions.
