Job Title

Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Operation Manager within established Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures, drives assigned vehicle for scheduled and unscheduled pickups and deliveries of various medical and non-medical supplies, equipment and materials. Also, performs various clerical and materials handling duties.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

Good driving skills; clerical accuracy; able to organize sizable workload; able to lift up to 50lbs Command of verbal and written English, positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

Previous storeroom and general clerical experience desirable but not required

Educational Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

License/Certification

Current Massachusetts or Rhode Island driver's license required. Clean driving record
