This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7A - 5:30P, with 2 shifts a month from 6A to 5:30P for opening shifts. Call will be required for 3 to 4 weeknight shifts a month (Monday - Thursday) from 5:30P to 7A, 1 Friday per month from 5:30P to 11P, and 1 to 2 weekend shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel RN specializing in Endoscopy to join our team. The position involves working in a fast-paced endoscopy laboratory with a focus on high-acuity patients. You will be responsible for both interventional and therapeutic procedures under the guidance of specially trained physicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing endoscopic procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and EBUS.
• Manage intra-operative care with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1.
• Provide pre and post-operative care, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort.
• Conduct infection control measures, including the manual cleaning and high-level disinfection of endoscopes.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to deliver quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care RN experience in Endoscopy.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with Olympus scopes and reprocessing is a plus.
• Prior PACU experience is advantageous.
