Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of experience required License: Compact or state license required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with a patient ratio of 1:5 - Experience in an acute, non-tele, medical-surgical unit - Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE Description: This position is for an acute, non-telemetry medical-surgical unit. The nurse will have a patient ratio of 1:5. All candidates must have BLS certification, and ACLS certification is preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is required. Experience in an academic medical center is preferred. Candidates will float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital. Travelers must comply with specific requirements related to assignments. Rehire eligibility will be confirmed prior to acceptance of an offer. Modules necessary for this position are completed during orientation and annually. Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements is mandatory, with exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons only.
