Shipping And Receiving ClerkWe are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support warehouse operations for a growing manufacturing facility in Decatur. This individual will be responsible for receiving incoming materials, processing outbound shipments through UPS and FedEx, maintaining inventory accuracy, stocking production materials, cycle counting, and supporting overall warehouse organization.ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming materials and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.Process outgoing shipments utilizing FedEx, UPS, and freight carriers.Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.Stock production materials and maintain warehouse inventory locations.Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.Maintain inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies.Scan materials using handheld barcode scanners and inventory systems.Pull materials based on Bills of Material (BOMs).Organize warehouse bays, shelves, bins, and inventory locations.Track inventory transactions in ERP systems.Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to support inventory records and documentation.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.Support production teams with material movement and replenishment.Essential Skills2+ years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience.Experience with FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip.Knowledge of inventory control and material tracking.Experience performing cycle counts and physical inventory.Comfortable using handheld barcode scanners.Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.Experience reading and working from Bills of Material (BOMs).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.Familiarity with ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, IQMS, etc.Experience with inventory management software.Understanding of shipping documentation and freight coordination.Skills in material handling and warehouse organization.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic and growing manufacturing facility where your skills in logistics and warehouse operations are valued and expanded. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
