Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room with varying acuity levels.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Utilize nursing equipment such as Baxter pumps and GE monitors effectively.
• Document patient care accurately in the Cerner system.
• Adhere to patient safety and experience protocols such as AIDET.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before start date.
• A minimum of 2 years RN experience with at least 1 year in ER setting.
• Experience in a Level II trauma or high-volume emergency department preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend and float within the ED as needed.
• Teamwork mentality and effective real-time feedback skills.
