Macomb Dental Center is Hiring a Full-Time Hygienist! 4 days/week schedule, Monday-Thursday!

As a clinical provider and patient advocate, you'll be given all the resources you need to provide exceptional care, while expanding your clinical skillset. You'll work in an environment that encourages full clinical autonomy, backed by the ability to tap into a hygiene mentor program.

Macomb Dental Center is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our fun and friendly team! You can expect to be apart of an inclusive team of professionals who provide quality care daily to the Macomb community. We collaborate together, we celebrate together, and we grow together!

Scheduled Hours: Monday - Thursday from 7:30am-5:30pm

Patient Schedule

• Single column, average of 7 patients/day
• 60 minute prophys and recalls
• 90 minute SRPs
• 90 minute New Patient appointments

Qualifications

• Active dental hygiene license in the state of Illinois
• New graduates welcome—especially those who are driven and eager to learn!
• Experience with Dentrix and Microsoft Word is a plus, but not required
• We work with Dentrix, Velscope, Gemini Diode Laser, and iTero! Laser certification can be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic, goal-oriented mindset, and team-first attitude
• Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced office environment

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
