This position supports and leads by example, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the home while assisting the Program Manager.ResponsibilitiesHelp lead and support staff during your shift, and share updates with the Program Manager.Help individuals with cooking, cleaning, laundry, personal care, and joining activities in the community.Give medications and follow care plans to support each person's health and behavior needs.Fill out paperwork to record daily activities, medical visits, and behavior notes.Talk and work well with individuals, families, coworkers, doctors, and others.Help schedule appointments and keep track of client money, house needs, and vehicle upkeep.Watch for health or safety problems and act fast if there's an emergency.Drive individuals to work, appointments, and other activities while following driving rules.Keep track of petty cash, record work hours, and help with office tasks when needed.Notice and report any behavior changes and suggest ways to improve care plans.Qualifications1-3 years of experience working in direct care or a healthcare setting.Valid driver's license with a good driving record.Able to pass background checks, drug test, and state-required clearances.Able to complete training like CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration.Can read, write, and follow directions in English.Good communication skills with coworkers, families, and medical staff.KenCrest is an equal opportunity at will employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of age, race, religion, color, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or national origin.
