Your efforts will help them reach their mobility and wellness objectives through tailored treatment plans and empathetic support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in executing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
• Track and document patient progress, providing updates to the supervising therapist.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and necessary equipment.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and exercises for home practice.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Previous experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care environment is preferred.
• CPR certification is advantageous.
