HUB Head of Commercial Excellence & Growth Enablement

Job Description Hitachi Energy is seeking a strategic and results-driven HUB Head of Commercial Excellence & Growth Enablement to lead commercial performance and growth acceleration across our North America Service Business Unit. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving commercial effectiveness, account growth, installed-base expansion, digital transformation, and capability development across the United States and Canada. As a trusted partner to the North America Service Leadership Team, you will shape and execute growth strategies that improve sales performance, strengthen customer relationships, expand recurring revenue streams, and enhance commercial execution. You will leverage data, analytics, CRM platforms, AI-enabled tools, and cross-functional collaboration to unlock new growth opportunities and deliver measurable business impact. What You'll Do Drive Commercial Growth & Strategy Translate business strategy into scalable commercial growth programs. Identify and activate opportunities across customers, markets, channels, and service offerings. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Portfolio Management, and Operations to accelerate revenue and profitability. Lead initiatives that increase order intake, recurring revenue, lifecycle services, and margin performance. Expand Customer & Installed Base Opportunities Drive account planning and customer growth strategies across North America. Leverage installed-base insights to uncover white-space opportunities and increase customer penetration. Support growth plans for strategic accounts and key customers. Expand service attachment rates and recurring revenue opportunities. Enable Sales Excellence Strengthen sales processes, opportunity management, pipeline discipline, and forecasting accuracy. Improve conversion rates, win rates, and overall sales productivity. Develop commercial playbooks, sales enablement programs, and best-practice frameworks. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer value, and profitable growth. Lead Commercial Intelligence & Digital Transformation Build and manage commercial KPI frameworks, dashboards, and performance reviews. Deliver actionable insights through CRM, analytics, and AI-driven tools. Champion adoption of Salesforce, SAP, Power BI, and other commercial technologies. Improve efficiency through automation, standardization, and data-driven decision making. Build & Lead High-Performing Teams Lead and develop a Commercial Excellence organization across North America. Influence and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Portfolio Management, IT, and global business teams. Create alignment between commercial priorities and long-term business objectives. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master's preferred). 10+ years of experience in Commercial Excellence, Sales Effectiveness, Growth Strategy, Business Operations, or related leadership roles. Proven success driving commercial transformation, sales performance, and business growth in a complex organization. Strong experience with Salesforce (SFDC), SAP, Power BI, analytics platforms, and digital commercial tools. Demonstrated ability to lead account growth initiatives, installed-base expansion, and recurring revenue programs. Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. Executive-level communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. Experience leading high-performing teams within matrixed, cross-functional environments. Why Join Us?
