Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $3,120 per week

Job Summary Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Truckee, California. Start date: ASAP. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days. Maintain and inspect nuclear medicine equipment for proper functioning, reporting malfunctions and ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients according to established protocols and safety standards. Monitor patients for adverse reactions to radioactive drugs or other administered medications, intervening as necessary. Operate medical imaging equipment to create images of organs or areas of the body according to physician orders. Document procedure details in patient records to ensure continuity of care and regulatory compliance. Follow hospital safety rules, policies, and radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure to radioactive materials. Perform other duties within the scope of Nuclear Medicine Technologist practice as assigned. Requirements One year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT). Additional certifications and licenses as required for the position. Benefits Highly competitive travel pay.
