Surgical Services Lead

Your future role at a glance Location: Milwaukee, WI Facility: Columbia St Mary's Milwaukee Department/Specialty: Surgery Schedule: Rotating Shift | Full Time How you'll make an impact in this role Lead daily operations of surgical suites in support of surgical procedures. Lead and coordinate shift operations including schedules and resources. Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies. Assist surgeons during surgery, providing required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon and assisting with hemostasis. Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitors and tracks instruments counts throughout procedures. Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching. Provide input to staff performance evaluations. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license ifconsidered multi-state/Compact State. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
