Job Description
Registered Nurse - MS/Tele

Schedule

Night shift, three 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15.

Assignment Details

Contract lengths of 16 weeks or more are accepted, with a possibility to extend until February 27, 2027.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a telemetry setting required.
• Traveler experience is accepted, including first-time travelers.
• Active nursing license required.
• Certifications: BCLS, NIH, IV Start, Telemetry; ACLS preferred.
• Must maintain hand hygiene compliance of 75%.
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
• Ability to float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support for a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond to alarms and alerts appropriately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care.
• Document care accurately and maintain compliance with facility policies.
• Engage in continuous education and improvement of skills related to patient care.

Compliance / Notes

Orientation includes 36 hours of training; availability for the first week is required. Scrubs are not provided; navy or white scrubs are acceptable.
