Local Building Supply Company / Warehouse Clerk

Pay: $18/hr Depending on Experience

Hours: Monday - Friday 7-3:30

Warehouse Clerk

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Clerk with strong data entry and clerical skills to support daily warehouse operations. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, entering data, processing paperwork, coordinating orders, and assisting with general warehouse activities. The ideal candidate will have several years of warehouse and office experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry for inventory, orders, shipments, and customer information
• Maintain and update inventory records and warehouse documentation
• Process invoices, purchase orders, receiving paperwork, and shipping documents
• Assist with receiving, checking, and organizing incoming materials
• Prepare orders and paperwork for outgoing shipments
• Answer phones, respond to customer inquiries, and assist with general clerical duties
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, customers, vendors, and drivers
• Research inventory discrepancies and help resolve order issues
• Maintain organized files and accurate records
• Assist with general warehouse duties and material handling as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements:

• Several years of warehouse clerk, inventory, data entry, or clerical experience
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Previous experience with inventory or warehouse management systems preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily responsibilities
• Comfortable working in both an office and warehouse environment
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team
