Graduate Programs & Admissions Operations Manager

Department : Bauer Graduate Prf Programs Salary : 43,000 - 48,900 Description : Manages the day-to-day operations of a small or medium-sized university program or department. May supervise staff employees, student workers, programs or processes.

1. Plans and develops procedures for administering a small or medium-sized department or program.
2. Oversees program expenditures and ensures adherence to budget.
3. Provides guidance to subordinate staff and evaluates performance.
4. May prepare or participate in the creation of abstracts, research reports, funding proposals, operations and procedure manuals, and other written material and documentation.
5. Reviews reports of budgets and activities.
6. Prepares ad hoc reports as needed.
7. May administer grants and grant-related related communications, scholarships and other operations.
8. Develops, implements and maintains appropriate policies and procedures.
9. May serve as property custodian for the department.
10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Additional Position Information Description: This position works in the Office of Graduate and Professional Programs at the C. T. Bauer College of Business. Successful candidates will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, work well under pressure, consistently meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects while remaining flexible and positive. This will require exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Further, successful candidates will effectively communicate with all levels of management and fellow employees and be able to manage multiple employer relationships. Position includes the following responsibilities but not limited to:

1. Assists with the processing of graduate applications by reviewing materials for completeness and monitoring application status workflows.
2. Coordinates and communicates with academic departments to support timely admissions decisions as well as applicants to ensure all documents needed for review are submitted.
3. Conducts initial lead qualification outreach to prospective students through multiple channels to assess program fit, admissions readiness, and engagement level while guiding candidates to appropriate next steps.
4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of prospective student interactions, outreach activities, and engagement milestones within CRM and admissions systems to support team visibility, consistent communication, coordinated follow-up, and reliable reporting.
5. Supports recruitment and enrollment initiatives by assisting admissions recruiters with event coordination, prospective student communication, appointment scheduling, follow-up outreach, and other activities during peak recruitment periods.
6. Assists with the coordination, training, scheduling, and supervision of student workers and graduate ambassadors to support admissions and recruitment operations.

Preferences:

• CRM experience such as Sales Force, Oracle, Slate, PeopleSoft or Hobson
• Experience in higher education admissions
