RN - PACU Profession: RN Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN State License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Valid Driver's License or State ID, Background Check Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The role requires monitoring and evaluation of patients recovering from anesthesia. The nurse will perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate with the surgical team. Experience in a recovery room or similar specialty is required. The nurse will ensure that all medical records are maintained accurately. Compliance with health and safety regulations is mandatory. Strong communication skills are essential for this position. The candidate must be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Attendance at required training and completion of health assessments is expected. The Registered Nurse should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
