The Restaurant Kitchen Manager for Kahite Grill will oversee a medium-sized team of 6-15 staff members in a casual dining kitchen environment. This role is responsible for ensuring food quality, maintaining inventory, and enforcing food safety standards while managing menu planning and staff scheduling. The Kitchen Manager will also handle budget oversight, staff hiring, training, and development to drive operational excellence.

 

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen staff and oversee daily operations
• Manage inventory and order supplies efficiently
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Plan menus in alignment with casual dining cuisine
• Maintain quality control to uphold food standards
• Develop and manage staff schedules
• Oversee budget and control operational costs
• Conduct hiring, training, and development of kitchen personnel

 

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in kitchen management

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation practices
• Experience with Inventory Management
• Strong Team Leadership skills
• Familiarity with Scheduling Software
• Expertise in Training and Development
• Background in Quality Control
