Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Medical Biller to support accurate and timely revenue cycle operations for a temp-to-perm opportunity.  The role requires knowledge of the full billing cycle, including claim submission, payment posting, denial resolution, and patient account management. 

Key Responsibilities

• Submit electronic and paper claims as required.

• Review and resolve claim denials, escalating issues when necessary.

• Post payments promptly and accurately.

• Use payer websites to review claims, appeal denials, and confirm payment status.

• Manage patient balances, establish payment arrangements, and respond to inquiries.

• Update insurance information and verify active patient coverage.

• Answer incoming calls to assist patients or clinic staff with billing questions.

• Provide backup within the billing team as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical billing experience.

• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans is a plus.

• Solid understanding of revenue cycle operations.

• Comfortable navigating payer portals and practice management systems.

• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
