Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

Location: Thornton, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7A - 7P

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Travel RN for the Labor & Delivery unit with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe deliveries and care for postpartum patients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and care for laboring patients before, during, and after delivery.
• Assist in various delivery procedures including versions, C-sections, and vaginal assisted deliveries.
• Provide postpartum care to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with medical staff and provide guidance as needed.
• Adhere to AWHONN guidelines regarding patient ratios.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications.
• Preferred: Prior Meditech experience and postpartum experience.
