Atlas Staffing has partnered with a premier, privately-held global manufacturer and supplier of cutting-edge visual communication, event, and display products.

Our client is looking for a Production Operator to join their team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Contact outside shipping vendors for shipments of product
• Obtain quotes from shipping vendors on shipping methods
• Make necessary inventory changes in NAV
• Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices if necessary
• Utilize E-Sup software to ship packages
• Determine weight of shipments
• Communicate with Customer Service on changes to shipments if necessary
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• May operate tier- lift truck or use hand-truck to move, convey or hoist shipments form shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area correctly fulfilled
• Consolidate shipping orders if required
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

What makes you a great fit:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving required
• Basic shipping/packaging knowledge
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and write English
• Strong computer skills
• Proficiency with MS outlook and Excel
• Strong problem solver
• Possess a strong sense of urgency
• Attention to detail
• Strong follow through skills

Physical demands:

• Frequently required to stand, walk, reach
• Vision requirements - close vision, distance vision, depth perception
• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally 50 lbs.
• Frequently Push/pull up to 40 lbs., occasionally 50-100 lbs.
