Job DescriptionPhysical Therapist Assistant, Licensed (LPTA)- Full-TimeKindred Hospital Philadelphia - Havertown and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 66-bed hospital offering the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. With 57 long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital beds, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. Similarly, our nine-bed ARU is designed for people who have experienced the debilitating effects of acute injury, impairment or illness. We are in a medical district close to Darby Creek and West Chester Pike expressway.Fundamental to providing great care is supporting and rewarding our team. Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion, and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.How you'll contributeThe Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility in Havertown, PA.Essential FunctionsAdminister physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.Maintain accurate and timely documentation.Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.Perform other duties as assigned.Additional InformationTeam-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesEducation: Associate's degree from a PTA program.Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.License: Current PTA license in state of PA.Certifications: CPR certification required.
