About the Role:

As a CNA at Munster Med-Inn, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Providing vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff

• Assisting with mealtime and feeding patients as needed

• Maintaining a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control practices

• Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses
• Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and respect by promoting a positive and supportive environment
• Participate in patient education and support, as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and observations
• Respond to patient calls and requests in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Indiana

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
