This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 4x10s, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, but may vary until procedures are complete. Call requirements include one weekend per month and one weekday call shift each week.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures while maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio. The role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and monitor procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations.
• Administer procedural sedation and monitor patients throughout the process.
• Provide care to patients undergoing cardiac stent placements and other cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Current South Carolina RN License or Compact License.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required.
• Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab and Impella insertion preferred.
