Job Summary : The Drill Press Operator is responsible for the loading, positioning, holding, and unloading of small crank components into a drill press in a high-speed production environment. This role requires consistent focus and attention to detail to ensure all parts are properly aligned and meet established quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

Load, secure, and unload small crank components into the drill press
Operate equipment in a fast-paced environment with an expected cycle time of approximately 2–3 seconds per part
Maintain consistent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts
Verify proper alignment and positioning of components during operation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines
Communicate any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervisors in a timely manner

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive production setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to maintain steady performance throughout the shift
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures consistently
Reliability and willingness to work as part of a production team
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a high-volume manufacturing environment
