Job Summary
We are looking for someone with proven restaurant experience, with a solid background on the grill/fry stations, food handling, and strong knowledge of preparing correct meat temperatures in a fast paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, correct temperatures and quality standards, ensuring consistency.
- Support kitchen operations by organizing ingredients, managing prep stations, and ensuring all equipment is clean and functional.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by serving as a reliable team player committed to continuous culinary improvement.
- Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
- Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary
- Follow all food safety regulations
- Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef or management
Qualifications:
- 2 years previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
