Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intermediate Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Valid RN State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Stroke Certification, Advanced Dysrhythmia Interpretation EKG Test, CPI Must-Have: Candidates must possess a valid RN State License. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience. Candidates must have current certifications in ACLS and BLS. Candidates must have NIHSS Stroke Certification. Candidates must be able to interpret advanced dysrhythmias. Candidates must have completed CPI training. Description: The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, implementing and managing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Communication with patients and family members about care plans and health-related issues is essential. The Registered Nurse will adhere to all safety and infection control protocols. Continuous professional development and participation in educational programs are expected. The Registered Nurse must demonstrate critical thinking skills in clinical decision-making. Flexibility to adapt to changing clinical situations is essential. The Registered Nurse will participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
