Phlebotomist Float
$23 - $33 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist float for its Long Beach laboratory operations, covering the greater Los Angeles and Orange County area. The role involves performing blood collections, specimen processing, and patient service across multiple facility locations with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information and process billing accurately and timely
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and maintain information logs
- Travel between multiple facility locations as assigned
Requirements
- California state-issued phlebotomy license (CPT)
- Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- At least 21 years of age
- Reliable transportation for float assignments
Compensation: $23.00-$33.00 base; float incentive $1.50/hr. plus mileage reimbursement; eligible for quarterly performance bonus
