Doctor of Medicine | Anesthesiology - General/Other Location: Jackson, MI Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP Specialty: Anesthesiology State: MI Location: 205 N East Ave, Jackson, MI Responsibilities Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase pre-op, intra-op, and post-op Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols and safety standards Contribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed Schedule 32-40 hrs/week (8s or 10s) Work either Monday or Friday every week No on-call duties required, strictly scheduled shifts Operate within a hospital-based setting designated as a Level II Trauma Center Benefits Weekly Direct Deposits Travel and Lodging Provided if Needed A+ Rated Malpractice Coverage 24/7 Availability of Recruiting Consultant & Credentialing Staff Notes Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days Henry Ford does not reimburse for background checks, application, or credentialing fees.
