Job Description

As a Security Officer Controlled Access Driver in Ladson SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location where you will help monitor entry points verify badges and/or credentials conduct routine patrols and support a professional guest this role you will help discourage security-related incidents through visibility communication and teamwork while bringing integrity reliability and a people-first approach to every shift.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures managing access control points verifying credentials and supporting authorized entry and exit at an automotive location.
• Monitor entrances gates badge activity deliveries and visitor traffic to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity according to post instructions.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter checking doors gates fencing parking areas and other assigned areas for security-related concerns.
• Assist with visitor registration contractor check-in and key or access device accountability while maintaining accurate logs reports and other required records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
