As a Dishwasher/Kitchen Aide at the Toasted Oak Grill & Market, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our kitchen. By ensuring all dishware, cookware, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and organized, you help create a safe and efficient environment that supports the entire culinary team.

Full time opportunity - $16 - $18 /hour

Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize all dishware, cookware, and utensils by hand or using washing equipment
• Polish stainless steel and silverware to maintain quality presentation
• Maintain kitchen safety by promptly clearing spills and keeping equipment, floors, walls, and surfaces clean
• Empty, wash, and return trash bins as needed; keep the wash area organized
• Assist with special and deep cleaning projects as required
• Sweep and mop all storage, kitchen and ice bin area floors daily
• In charge of the dish tank, ensuring all dishes are washed daily and area is clean.
• Removal and disposal of all boxes from all departments;

Qualifications:

• Able to work early mornings, days, evenings, and / or weekends;
• Articulately communicates
• Maintain a clean appearance with good hygiene;
• Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds;
• Able to remain standing for the duration of shift
• Detail-oriented;
• Multi-tasks efficiently;
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times;
• Willing to learn and take direction.
