Caregiver Position In Gilroy

***We are recruiting for a special needs, 24/7 client in Gilroy. We have openings for our evening shift 3:30pm - 11:00pm, as well as our overnight shift 11pm - 7am. Candidates with "Anytime Availability" will be given the highest priority in hiring selections. This assignment is very involved, and is not for caregivers who want companionship-only roles.***

Caregiver Pay Range

$20 - $24 per hour

Responsibilities

· Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation

· Provide companionship and emotional support

· Help with light housekeeping and laundry

· Monitor and report changes in clients’ well-being or behavior

· Follow care plans and safety protocols

· Assist with medication reminders

· Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments as needed

· Foster independence and promote social interaction

Qualifications

· Previous caregiver experience required

· Must register as a Home Care Aide with CDSS

· 18 years old and a High school diploma or equivalent

· Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance are required

· Ability to pass a live scan background check and drug screening

· CPR certification

· TB test or chest x-ray

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
