Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN)We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients with a variety of medical needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive nursing care to patients within the medical-surgical unit.Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as necessary.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment options.Participate in staff meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.RequirementsValid RN license and a degree in nursing.Experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred.Ability to work nights and weekends as needed, with a minimum requirement of every other weekend.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, specifically Epic.Additional InformationPosition requires floating between units as necessary.Expected nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6-8, depending on patient acuity.This position is approved for 48 hours per week.There are no fees for parking on-site.Work ScheduleThe position requires three 12-hour shifts during the night, from 19:00 to 07:00.Client Details City Spokane State WA
