POSITION TITLE: Staff Accountant

DEPARTMENT: The Molpus Woodlands Group, LLC

CATEGORY: Hourly Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:

Supports accounting functions for The Molpus Woodlands Group, LLC (MWG) and the timberland investments of Molpus' clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs data-entry for multiple clients

• Prepares daily cash deposits and monthly bank reconciliations

• Processes AP and AR transactions

• Reconciles timber settlements

• Prepares various reports

• Provides support to external auditors

• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting or a closely related field is not required, but preferred.

• Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with common business computer software that may include spreadsheet, word-processing and presentation software.
