Position 1st Shift Trash Puller Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Description Pay: $15.00 per hour Schedule: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Employment: Full-Time | Weekends Required Pay Frequency: Weekly Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) Stay Active. Elite Touch Cleaning Services is hiring dependable and hardworking Trash Pullers to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. This is an active, hands‑on position-not a desk job. You will spend most of your shift walking throughout the airport, collecting waste and recyclable materials, moving loaded trash carts, and keeping disposal areas clean and organized. Weekly pay Full-time, year-round employment Consistent day-shift schedule Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and sick leave Supportive supervisors and team environment Opportunities for advancement within the company Key Responsibilities Collect trash, cardboard, and recyclable materials throughout the airport Empty waste containers and replace liners Push and maneuver loaded tilt trucks and trash carts Transport waste safely to designated disposal areas Keep trash rooms, equipment, and disposal areas clean and organized Respond promptly to assigned service requests Follow all company, airport, safety, and security procedures Report spills, hazards, damaged equipment, and maintenance concerns Work cooperatively with team members and airport personnel What We're Looking For Successful candidates will: Be dependable, punctual, and ready to work each scheduled shift Be comfortable performing physical work in a fast-paced environment Be able to stand and walk for most of an eight-hour shift Be able to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 80 pounds Be willing and able to work Saturdays and Sundays Have reliable transportation for a 7:00 AM start time Follow instructions and work effectively with limited supervision Communicate in English or Spanish Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude Airport Employment Requirements Candidates must: Be at least 18 years old Pass a fingerprint-based, 10-year background check Complete the airport security badging process Obtain and maintain an airport security badge Comply with all airport safety and security requirements Original Documents Required During the Hiring Process Candidates invited to continue in the hiring process must provide a valid government-issued photo ID and one eligible original document, such as: Social Security card- not laminated Birth certificate- not laminated U.S. passport Permanent Resident Card Certificate of Naturalization Employment Authorization Document (EAD) Names on all documents must match. Position Requirements Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, push, and pull 80 pounds repeatedly Must be able to perform physical movements necessary to execute the necessary functions and tasks of the job. Stand and walk 94% of the time Stooping: Bending body downward and forward. Kneeling: Bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees. Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction. Handling: Holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hands.
