Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
Experience providing restorative and skilled therapy services, including transfers, gait training, and therapeutic exercise, preferred.
Ability to provide documentation in electronic medical records and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Client requires availability for a 32-hour per week schedule, working 4 days per week (4x8) as part of the assignment guarantee.
Preferred: prior travel therapy experience and competency treating post-operative orthopedic and medically complex patients.

Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
Shift Name: Days.
Work Schedule: 4 days per week, 8-hour shifts (4x8).
Weekly Guarantee: 32 hours per week guarantee.
Assignment Length: 13-week assignment.
Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities within the client network as needed.
