IT Cloud Architect

We are seeking a strategic, organized, and proactive IT subject matter expert (SME) with expertise in Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, Geospatial solutions, and related platforms and tools. The IT SME will serve as a trusted technical advisor, providing guidance to the Government Program Manager on technical issues across various systems. Responsibilities Provide technical expertise in creating, updating, maintaining, and visualizing software architecture, including data and services. Develop technical documentation supporting project architectures, including Concept of Operations (CONOPs). Act as a technical liaison concerning system architecture focusing on performance, availability, redundancy, data protection, and security. Collaborate with customers to evaluate mission drivers, identify challenges, develop mitigation strategies, assess applications, and support Cloud initiatives. Offer technical analysis and oversight for complex applications and operational environments. Assist with technical oversight of Service Providers for project portfolios. Provide technical leadership for IT requirements, design, and technology integration. Engage with government on systems engineering and IT technical issues. Facilitate metrics development across the IC community. Qualifications Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance. Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years, Master’s degree with 12+ years, or PhD/JD with 9+ years of relevant experience. 3-5 years’ experience within an IC Agency. Over 3 years of hands-on experience with Cloud and Enterprise Architecture. Background in software development. Experience with Geospatial tools such as ESRI. Knowledge of IT governance. Ability to provide sound technical advice and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Note: This is a technical role focused on architecture platform transitions and recommendations, not a project management position.
